Virtual Roadshows

Dear RFMCF Member You are encouraged to join the RFMCF online workshops to understand the Fund’s processes, rules, and benefits in greater detail. Please note that these sessions are held online (virtually) via Microsoft Teams. The 2024 workshop dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, 24 October 2024 from 13h00 – 15h00 (Q&A session)
  • Tuesday, 29 October 2024 from 15h00 – 17h00
  • Thursday, 21 November 2024 from 13h00 – 15h00 (2025 Schedule of Benefits presentation)
  • Thursday, 28 November 2024 from 12h00 – 14h00 (2025 Schedule of Benefits Q&A session)
  • Tuesday, 03 December 2024 from 12h00 – 14h00 (Q&A session)
  • Thursday, 12 December 2024 from 14h00 – 16h00
  • Thursday, 19 December 2024 from 14h00 – 16h00
NOTE: To participate in the Q&A sessions, please submit your questions at least two days before the event by emailing them to roadshow@rfmcf.co.za These questions relate to the Fund and processes, not patient-specific enquiries. Please direct any personal enquiries to the dedicated department to avoid delayed resolution thereof. Find the relevant contact details here: https://rfmcf.co.za/contact/ Select a date from the above and send an email to roadshow@rfmcf.co.za with your VPA number, email address, physical address and cell phone number.  RSVP by latest one day before the selected workshop date. The link to the workshop will be shared with you +-2 days before the session. The Fund will continue with virtual workshops throughout the year as they are more cost-effective than physical workshops. To ensure that there is structure and limited disruptions during the session, please note:
  • Keep yourself on silent during the workshop to avoid background noises.
  • Raise your hand if you want to ask a question.
  • You will be called to unmute yourself when it is your time to ask a question.
  • Make use of the comment section to ask questions during the session.
  • Be respectful at all times.
  • Keep your camera off to assist with the bandwidth.
  • Ensure that you have uninterrupted internet to stay online.

  1. In your email invite, select Click here to join the meeting.
  2. Type your name.
  3. Choose your audio and video settings.
  4. Select Join now.
  5. You’ll go to a lobby where someone in the meeting will admit you once the meeting starts.
